The Anime Trope Drinking Game

 

Take a drink if you see:

• Blushing when someone points out the obvious
• A character gets amnesia
• A character with amnesia suddenly remembers stuff from a very obvious but unlikely trigger
• Someone has a ~meaningful~ dream
• Pausing on boobs for no reason
• Protagonist hangs back from fun activity everybody else is doing
• Tsundere character purposely dresses inappropriately and is surrounded by over-formal or over-sexualized outfits
• Blame Russia
• Blame America
• Eye quiver
• Hand on heart for no reason
• Getting romantically pushed out of the way of death
• character being a bitch for no reason even though whatever happened to them isn’t nearly as bad as what they did to the person their bitching at
• boss yelling about productivity even though there is literally nothing that needs doing
• 15º-45º angle

• Really annoying catch-phrase
• Abandoning someone who obviously shouldn’t be left alone (and then wondering where they got to after they are obviously abducted)
• A character gets slapped out of an emotional ramble
• A character learns something important about themself by accidentally eavesdropping behind a closed door
• Characters out of breath after emotional conversation/shouting match
• Beach episode
• Meaningless motivational speech
• A characrter saying something important with their back turned
• A wash of petals or leaves in a gentle breeze blowing over the protagonist
• Hyper-venta-speaking
